Fell's teeth slashed into Risen's side deeply and then he was hit. Fell stumbled, almost losing his footing, but still staying upright. This was giving Risen a chance to pounce and Fell knew this. But he couldn't help the fact that he had stumbled. Besides ... there was a way out of everything.

Risen indeed pounced, hopefully landing on Fell to pin him down. If he was able to, he'd then go for the throat or nape with his jaws. If it was throat, he'd try to sink them deeply, then rip them out, thus hopefully snapping jugular. If it was nape, he'd clamp on tightly, and then jerk Fell back, hopefully flipping him on his back.
(I say throat or nape, depending on if Fell's on his stomache or back. }

Fell was pinned on his back and he felt Risen's teeth grab onto his nape. But he snarled and jumped up, a sort of spring straight into the air type thing. He snarled and landed on the ground, feeling Risen yanking him backwards. Fell was slightly thrown but he remembered that their body weight almost equaled out. He snarled and spun in quick, tight circles, only moving his hind end and keeping his front in place, looking like a sort of pivoting ... thing. But he was a pivoting ... wolf ... not thing.
( urgle snurgle this is getting waaay too meaningless for me ... we should have them both step back and call a draw ... I'll PM you what I have the idea for happening ... )

( OOC// You're right. You've gotta admit, they're pretty evenly matched, somehow. I guess it's the combination of old age ( kinda ), but wisdom, against young fitness, but inexperience, if not leaning a bit towards Fell. Problem- Risen wont step back. I'm not trying to be rude OOCly, it's his IC personality. He's like the Energizer Bunny. xD Gogogogogogogo. Don'tstop. Gogogogogogo. But he might end up walking away, because he's not in his Rage form, thus isn't oblivious to the pain... )

ooc| Well, let's have Fell step back for a moment, and Risen takes the chance and says something like, "Tired?" or whatever. |
Fell knew that this fight was pretty much pointless. He wasn't getting anywhere and Risen was like a pup, never-ending energy. But he was growing furious. Why was this wolf not showing any signs of being injured. Keeping his head high with pride, his eyes glittering with mystery, yet his wounds bleeding and screaming pain, he stopped his motion and stood, keeping his proud stance. He had had enough but wasn't going to be the one to stop the fight.

Risen blinked as Fell stepped back. Now, without the constant motion that seemed to leave it behind, pain was returning, and harshly. Ragged breathing indeed; Risen needed time to rest, though he'd not admit it. "Tired?" He smirked at the older male, still standing, tense, ready to fight again if needed.

Fell smirked at the now gasping Risen. So, the pain had finally caught up with him. Good. "Somewhat. Though I am not in as much pain as you seem to be." he spoke with ease, acting as if he was not in pain at all. the older male, previous Alpha, knew how to concentrate on something other than his pain and block the pain out. Though it still ingered, it was not as strong. "Maybe you should ... nevermind. You wouldn't listen to someone like me anyways, considering you have no respect." Fell's moss-yellow eyes glittered furiously at Risen's pain, almost telling Risen Fell knew how to control his own pain.

Risen snorted, shaking his head. "I can control my pain during fighting. It's easy. I take a break from the concentration while resting, to give me time to get used to it. Maybe you aught to try it, hm?" Risen stared for a bit longer, still standing, stilll tense, tail waving high in the air in a ready-to-fight mode, head lowered over neck to protect it from any surprise attacks. Hind legs were slightly bent, ready to propell him anywhere he needed to be, for Risen wasn't one to be un aware. At a sudden movement, he sprang forward at Fell; Snapping towards his throat but stopping short of making contact. Backing up, he'd cackle evily, no matter if Fell was taken by surprise or not.

ooc| What movement? Fell didn't move. He was just ... standing there tensely. |
Fell just watched the younger male as he lunged at him. Of course, Fell blinked in somewhat surprise but he had expected it. Younger males didn't know how to control themselves. "Very well," Fell said and stepped backwards. "I shall leave you in your empty lands, sire" he sneered the title and then walked backwards a few paces, not turning but keeping his eyes on Risen. But then he stppped. "By the way, it must have been some trouble for you to come all this way just to have a land with no one in it, eh?" he said and then disappeared into the forest, breaking into a leisurely jog and leaving the lands.

( I meant, a sudden movement from Ris. )
Risen watched Fell go backwards, self-assured stance still there, though he'd keep himself ready for any attack. At Fell's sarcastic words, Risen did nothing but snort, and at his next words, he shrugged. "Apon learning that there's not such an old wolf for an Alpha, wolves will come flocking; Trust me." Risen smirked, watching the older wolf retreat and leave the lands. Finally. Alpha of Clathos! No more will this pack be for wolves of dark or dark past. Merely for dark wolves, and only dark wolves.

Fell smirked to himself. Old? Ha! Fell was in his prime! The last comment had meant nothing to him. Wolves that had already met risen didnt trust him so no, they wouldn't come "flocking". Then he was done, he left his previous lands, his pride, and his control over his darkness, with risen in that cleaaring. The old wise Fell was no more. The younger, murderous Fell had returned to take control yet again.
